New Broadband Not Working
Hello
Recently I upgraded to Sky Broadband WiFi Max. I received the packaging and followed the instructions to install it. However it wouldn't complete the install and the booster it came with never worked. So after spending about half an hour on the phone it was agreed for an engineer to come round. The engineer came round at 8am on a Sunday and conducted countless tests over a 3 hour period to find out what the problem was to no avail. We agreed that I should stay on my existing sky broadband and return the new equipment. He didn't carry any spare parts so we couldn't check if it was the hardware or not. On Monday the next day I called Sky. I was on hold for about 40 minutes and then spoke to about 4 representatives at Sky and I just went round in circles. I now have a package coming to me in the post that I have to return my internet box. I have no idea what internet box I have to return. The last I was told is that I wasn't allowed to return back to the contract I was on because it was in the terms and conditions. I would like to just voice my frustrations at how I have been treated as a loyal customer of Sky. You've sent out some random equipment not fit for purpose and you do not have the customer support to deal with the issues that arise. I have been told that I have to arrange for yet another engineer to come to my house to deal with this. I don't want this to happen but I am in total limbo because of your shortcomings
