New 5g Router has made Printer obsolete?
We had a new 5g router installed and since then our printer won't connect!
our printer is only a 2.4hhz we've tried shutting it down and re installing it but it won't. I don't want to have to buy a new printer!

Re: New 5g Router has made Printer obsolete?
@Ali150 you do not have a 5g router as 5g is a term only relevant to mobile systems. I think you mean you have a hub which uses the 5GHz wifi band. In practice all Sky hubs have been dualband ie use both the 2.4 and 5GHz bands for the last 9 years.
If you have one of the new white Sky hubs the way you connect devices that wont connect to dualband routers has changed. The controls are in the My Sky app under product options. Go into the advanced section of the hub's settings and first go into the WiFi security section and make sure it is set to WPA2 if it isnt change it and save the change. Now check if tge printer will connect.
If it still doesnt go into the same setttings screen in the app but this tome go into the disable wifi section and turn off the 5GHz band save and exit. Now you printer should connect. Once it is connected and tested then go back in and turn the 5GHz signal back on and the printer should stay connected.
