@Jason26110 Engineers only are assigned where there arecspecific jobs requiring their presence like fitting a new line, repaiting or repkacing Openreach or City Fibre equipment etc. Standard activations are down tomthe customer plugging in the Sky hub etc by following the instructions included with the hub.
Standard UK landline phones will plug into the back of a Sky hub. Unfortunately the phones BT supplied for their digital0 voice solution only work with BT's own hubs.
