Partner has cut the white phone cable leading to the exterior from the master box in the house, as such we dont have internet. Cannot find a way to book an engineer to repair this. Openreach has said we must talk to our provider first.

That's correct. You'll need to call Sky tomorrow morning: they will book Openreach, who may get to you by Friday (otherwise it's going to be next week)
