My wifi is soo poor and slow i moved from bt 100 fibre to sky its shocking speeds even though when i run a test the app tells me its fine , firestick cutting out all the time its just awful

@tmac1974 you need to establish if the issue is with the connection to your new Sky hub or the WiFi network in your home. If you run the connection test in the My Sky app and click for further information it shoukd show the connection speed if it is below your guaranteed minimum then itvshould offer to get an engineervto check your line.

 

If thecspeed to your hub is OK then the issue is likely to becthe WiFi in your home. If the BT hub provided goid coverage but the Sky hub innthe same place doesn'tvthen if you are in the intial month consider going back to BT. However if you had extenders from BT to get decent WiFi you will need to buy Sky's equivelent called Sky WiFiMax. In praxticectherecis normally little difference between Sky and BT's hubs performance.
