Further outages Friday morning. Still auto reconnecting. It still appears to be a DHCP server issue.

Hi,
I'm from Chesterfield in Newbold and have been experiencing fluctuating speeds this morning. Just wondering if it's an open reach issue or not. Not sure if there has been any outages over night or not.

Try checking if there are any outages in your area using following link.

If this shows no issues you could try running the line test at the following link.
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start
You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.
After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.

Ha thank goodness it's not just me...I'm in Newbold too. Teams calls are dropping intermittently. I called Sky support but they don't think that there is anything wrong. They said its probably because I've got 13 devices connected to my wi-fi (only 2 are actually being used). Then also they said I probably need a booster!!!

I have Sky Stream but my ISP is acually TalkTalk. However this is a good forum to look at to see if there are any outages due to Openreach. So it looks like the speed fluctuation is due to an Openreach issue again. I first noticed it last night as my Sky Stream was cutting up about 1am and this morning was the same. It seems to be working ok now though.

Thanks Johnny, any idea who I need to raise this with? I've already tried Sky.
My upload speed should be 150-160mbps, but I'm only getting half of that. WiFi is intermittently dropping too..

If it's an Openreach issue they should sort it out soon. I've done a few speed tests over the last hour or so and it seems ok now. Have you tried rebooting your router?

I'm in Newbold, and my internet was down just before 12pm today for about 5 mins. I guess there was another outage?

Yep they are **bleep**ing about again. It's back now but I want a much more stable connection.

My nternet was down 11:57 to 12:01 and is down again since 12:03.

I'm also back on. It's not the ISP as I'm with TalkTalk. I have SkyStream though. OpenReach need to sort this out. The last outage was about 6 weeks ago.
