My internet is down in chesterfield

Same for me in Wingerworth. Sky Fibre down.

Is this a regular thing in chesterfield then...? Have sky mentioned anything about it?

It was a regular thing from Oct to Jan but then settled down.   It's not Sky at fault but BT.    The connection to the Sky hub is fine but no DNS server access as no allocated IPv4 address available.   Voice also diappears.   It atleast has reconnected without having to reboot  the hub when it's back up.

Internet connection has been hit and miss for the last few hours in Newbold...even now getting freezing on sky q

That's why I will not switch from Sky Q to Sky Glass or streaming.  Over Christmas it would have caused problems.

There's no requirement to do so while there are Astra satellites in orbit at 28.2E, which is roughly until 2030.  After that it becomes a bit trickier...

Internet down in Newbold around 7:25pm this evening for approx 20 minutes. Back on now.

Mine in Hady had a few issues on the 22nd and again on 23rd May, but a reboot solved it. Not had an issue since, but still a pain if not going to bed reliable.

Mine was down last night for about 2 hours starting around 1:30am. Same issue again tonight, been down for about 20 minutes so far. Sky has been terrible since I upgraded last year, awful installation experience, connection drops every few days for the first 3 to 4 months. Customer service generally useless when contacted. It has been ok for the last few months untill now. Will be cancelling soon I think. Guess I'll be eating through my mobile data again tonight running a hotspot.

At that time of night it could be essential overnight maintenance taking place which is carried out then to minimise disruption as most customers are asleep.
