Ive had an ongoing issue with my sky broadband for the last 4 weeks now, it randomly went off one time with the power light and WiFi light on my router staying green but broadband one was off. I reported it and they said it was a fault outside and BT fixed it. It then worked again for about a week then dropped out again. Had the same thing bt came out as it was a fault outside they fixed it and it was fine again for a few days. It then happened a further 2 times. It only seems to drop out once the router has been touched by someone in the house, it came back on itself before the engineer came out to "fix the outside fault" but the router was moved and it dropped out and hasn't come back. I have called sky about this 2 times already and they keep telling me it's a fault outside but I don't think it can be and I think I need a new router but they keep saying it's a fault outside and I'm getting really frustrated as we are without internet more than we have it and we live in quite a rural area so without internet our phones don't really work very well.
is there any help in being able to get a new router or for someone to check inside the property ?
