Tried turning router off but nothing is working

Red lights are never good!
Depending on your router the lights mean different things.
Is your broadband full fibre or ADSL, if Full Fiber then you will also have an ONT installed where the fiber comes into your house. If you have one then is it powered up? Any lights on it?
