My WiFi range appears to have reduced
despite paying extra for a boost on our router we are having problems with the WiFi signal . My wife uses WiFi calling and some days it works ok and others it fades in and out amd it sounds like an alien. She uses it in various rooms of the house but can only get perfect reception in the same room as the router . As far as I understand this shouldn't happen with our package .....what's happening

Have you actually asked for, received and installed separate booster hardware?
By itself, paying the subscription supplement makes no difference to Hub performance.

No, they charge me extra each month and said they had boosted it via the router . I did ask for booster boxes but they said I didn't need them

I think you have been fobbed off as you are within your rights to request a booster (which Sky calls a pod) if you are paying for the Wifi Max add on at £6 a month so I would try getting in touch with them again.

There is no mechanism for doing so.
