Re: My WiFi is running at 40 upstairs in my house
@gfear19 slower wifi speeds on different floors are extremely common especiallyas we get faster full fibreconnections and expect wifi spees to increase. WiFi speeds are determined by the layout and type of construction of your home. Many houses require muktiole wifi sources to get decent speeds in every room.
Sky sell an add-on oackage called WiFi Max which can offer you to 3 pod extenders or you can do as I have done and buy a third party whole home wifi set up. However if you want fullmgigabit spedds in every room that is going to be expensive in practice very few apps can use much more than 100Mb/s and actually 40Mb/s is amole for streaming video in UHD or on line gaming assuming you dont have a tribe of teenagers.
