We are moving home - but !!!!!!!!!
First we have to move into temporary accommodation while we have not yet decided on our final move.
We currently have Sky Broadband and Talk along with a comprehensive package of options.
How can I keep this over a temporary move which is likely to be in the region of less than 6 months - in fact how can I talk to a human being at sky who could help.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@martserv you can book a home move to your temporary accommodation see https://www.sky.com/moving-home and a second when you move again. If you need guidance you will need to call in as home moves are dealt with by a special team so calling during the week maybe a good idea. When calling Sky do not accept offers of a text etc just stay on the line. Calls from your Sky Talk line are free dial 150.

Thanks Chrisee for v quick answer. I think the temp accommodation has BRSK - so may need to discuss how to deal with that - maybe get extra SKY GO access and forego my SKY broadband during the interim. I don't really want to lose my VIP status as I have been with Sky for more that 20 years

You must move your subscription to a new premises or cancel. A TV and/or broadband subscription must have a subscription address & that can't stay at your old home if someone else is moving in as that would stop them from ordering any TV or broadband.
If you cancel and your in a minimum term period you'll be subject to cancellation fees.

Thanks jamesn1223.
yes, obviously, I would take the subscription with me.
My comment was if Sky would allow me to "bank" my account for a period of a few months until our new house is ready.
I know that my phone number etc would be cancelled at our current address.
I was thinking if there was a way I could bridge our house rental preiod until we can complete and therefore keep our existing contract"live" to our final address.
But thanks for your answer.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreYes the question gets asked quite frequently on the forum and the simple answer is no Sky do not allow you to bank/pause any of your subscriptions for any period so it must be transferred to cancelled then ordered as new when required.
