Moving house and staying connected

I'm moving house but overlapping the two properties for a fortnight. When I try to inform Sky I'm moving, they want to deactivate broadband from today. I want to keep it active at one property until it can be set up at the other. How can I achieve this?

@Moving-on

Service in both locations would be easily achievable by ordering provision from a different ISP, but that would leave you liable for any applicable early exit charges from Sky.

@Moving-on you cannot have one service active at two properties at the same time but potentially you could delay the move by two weeks but you would have had to give notice several days in advance of thecswitch.. If it is due today its too late.

To get an overlap you would have had to order a new servicecat the new address and separately given 14 days notice to cancel the old service when you no longer needed it but as pointed out you can be liable.for cancellation charges if still in fixed term contract period.

Most people use mobile coversge for such over laps.
