Moving home

I'm moving home in 3 days. I've read that once you book a home visit they disconnect your broadband straight away. Is this true as will still need the broadband where I am now till the day I move.

@Dutch36Your broadband at the old property will be disconnected either on the day or the day before you move into the new property.  There is normally a lead time of 14 days for a home move.

@Dutch36

No, that's not correct (excepting errors).  Unfortunately, as @Highlinder indicates, you've now left it far too late to have broadband available at the new address for something like two weeks after your move (at a minimum, and potentially much longer if provisioning is to be over FTTP).
