Moving from VirginMedia

I am looking to move from Virgin as the price they are charging is frankly a joke despite been a customer since 2011. Sky offer to "cover" the cancellation which I get for other providers is a simple swtich, how does it work with Virgin?

Also does anyone have the 2.5Gb service from sky?

Exactly the same for broadband: Virgin is part of the one-touch-switch system.  For Virgin television you'd need to cancel with them.

That's only available where Sky Broadband is provisioned on CityFibre infrastructure.

You pay any termination fees to Virgin and provide Sky with a copy of the bill from Virgin where you have been charged an early termination fee and a copy of a statement showing that you have paid it and send these to Sky via this email address - switching credit @Sky.uk (all one word without the gap)

Switching to Sky Broadband? - We’ll credit you up to £200*
Switching to Sky TV? - We’ll credit you up to £100*

Re: Moving from VirginMedia

Cheers for the answers, I will probably make the call to Sky then as I need a line installing and that can take a while 😂

I am in a cityfiber area so likely to be the 2.5gb service as I think the 5 is overkill. Saying that it's still cheaper what virgin are charging me 😂
