Moving from Virgin to Sky
Hi, my Virgin Media contract expires on the 13th of June. I'm about to sign up to Sky, but as of todays date the installation/connection date i've been offered is the 10th June, which is obviously before my contract end.
Do Sky liase with Virgin so i'm not charged cncellation fees? How does it work?

Re: Moving from Virgin to Sky
The 'one touch switch' scheme applies, but doesn't prevent early cancellation fees.
However, if Virgin does charge a penalty you can claim the equivalent amount back from Sky as an account credit.

Re: Moving from Virgin to Sky
No problem.
Perhaps note that 'one touch switch' only applies to broadband though: if you are ending a subscription television service with Virgin then that needs to be raised with them by yourself: Sky won't do it even if you are taking up a Sky television subscription.

Re: Moving from Virgin to Sky
@Gno199If you are not dealing direct with sky then all OTS is off the table, no third party intervention, any issues then you need to go to your source, that would be MSE...

@Gno199 Hope you got a fixed install date, and not a propossed one, if so you have read the e-mail terms and conditions for the installation period JIC.
