Moving from Pure Telecom to Sky

I moved from Pure Telecom to Sky last week and I was told that Sky will cancel my broadband with Pure.

So far I have not received any notice from Pure (I also moved from Eir to Sky on mobile and there I got the notification on the day), and I am a bit worried I will continue paying to Pure since they are not aware of us switching (or at least will claim they weren't aware).

How long should I wait untill I start "panicking"?

If you are the Republic of Ireland (given your reference to Eir) then I don't think there's a one-touch-switch system for broadband in operation there, which unfortunately a Sky contact centre person who mostly deals with UK customers may not have been aware of.

@Medash As @TimmyBGood has pointed out, best you call the Pure telecoms and do the cancellation direct with them, no surprises that way!

Ok, so I had a chat with Pure and was told that SKY actually canceled it last week, and that I will get my final bill at the end of the month...

They also mentioned that I don'y need to send them back the equipment...
