@Eddie1980  I'm sorry to say that Sky would not be responsible for moving your hub to any location within the home, this is something you wuld need to sort out yourself.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

@Eddie1980

You could request (and pay for) a 'master socket relocation' if you have FTTC broadband.

Relocating an ONT for FTTP broadband is a much bigger job, but potentially possible: be aware there's only a limited range of options as to where it can go.

The Hub can be moved further away from the wall socket (FTTC) by purchasing a longer RJ11 to RJ11 cable: for FTTP the cable required is Cat5e ethernet.  Unfortunately if the socket or ONT location isn't secure then disconnection is still possible even if the Hub is elsewhere.

As @GD1 indicates, Sky will not wish to be involved in your family dynamics (and isn't obliged to attend in those circumstances) so it's best to keep things on a technical level when communicating with them.

Ultimately a cabled connection is always going to be somewhat vulnerable: you might consider moving to permanent cellular data access if your location has a suitable signal.
