Moving House - what to expect

Hello,

I've been having issues with the chat bot and it's been going round in loops.

I've done the scheduling for my house move and having my sky switched from my

current house to my new home, but I'd just like to know what to expect? Will something arrive in the post? Will an engineer come round?

I thought if I have this query then someone else might have it too.

thank you!

@April14 See the link below if it helps, but you just take all off your Sky Equipment with you, and sky arrange the installation at your new home!

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

@April14 home moves vary for a strightforward broadband move no engineer comes out and your line is activated at some point on the date you were given remotely and you plug in the hub you brought with you using the same cables unless Sky has sent you a new cable. An engineer is only required if your new property lacks a phone docket or where full fibre is going to be installed.

An engineer is only required for a TV move if you have Sky Q and your new property doesn't have a satellite dish. Otherwise its down to you.
