Moved abroad and trying to cancel broadband.

Hope someone can help.

I've moved abroad however my partner doesn't join me until next week. I've tried to cancel the wifi however I can't call sky as I am in Italy and the number isn't recognised. The only option it comes up with is to call them, is there another way to cancel? (I am the account holder therefore they have said that they will only talk to me.) Also I don't mind paying the fee.

Please advise.

As far as I know you can only cancel over the phone.

I agree with @jamesn123 Unfortunately this is something that should have been done prior to leaving the UK.

To cancel Sky Broadband and Sky Talk totally you'll have to contact Sky and give the required notice of 14 days, but if you are still in the initial 18 months deal Sky could impose cancellation charges. This link may help https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-broadband

Return packaging will be sent out to you near the end of the notice period. Remember to keep any proof of posting indefinitely. This will need returning from within the UK or ROI.

Re: Moved abroad and trying to cancel broadband.

I've figured out a work around, it's not the best but it has worked.

You aren't able to cancel any other way then over the phone unfortunately however my partner called them and then called me on a different phone on messanger, so I could speak to them through two devices.

Luckly it worked. Thank you all for your help.
