Mobile phones keeps being disconnected from broadband using up my mobile data!!

I’m really getting fed up now since my mobile broadband upgrade. To be honest, I haven’t noticed much improvement, but what’s worse is that both my phone and my son’s keep getting disconnected from the Wi-Fi. When this happens, they switch to mobile data, which is quickly used up and means I’m constantly having to top up. This never happened before the upgrade, so I don’t believe it’s anything to do with our phone settings – especially as it’s affecting both devices. As a result, I’ve already lost a large amount of piggyback data, which seems to be caused by the broadband setup. Can anybidy lease look help resolve the issue?

Apart from these two phones do you have any other devices connected to your Wifi and if so do this also disconnect at the same time ?

@bobby+boo What is the sky Hub version that you are using on the system! The black SR203 Sky Broadband Hub or the white SR213 sky Max Hub!

@bobby+boo That hub the old trusty black SR203 is pretty rock solid wi-fi wireless wise, cannot say the same about the newer phones and versions off the software on those, so first off, just switch the mobile data off on the phone all together, see how the mobiles work just on the straight wireless wi-fi connection to start with!

No turning off mobile data actually prevents my mobile connecting to the Internet!

@bobby+boo If you have the mobile phone connected and enabled to the sky wireless wi-fi, then mobile off will not have any effect as the broadband is supplied over the wireless wi-fi connection!
