Missing Openreach ONT power cable

Just moved home and found that the power cable for the Openreach ONT has been taken by the previous occupier.

I'm being told that as I don't have an active broadband subscription (my home move won't be activated until the 10th) I have to wait until then before I can call back to get an engineer booked, meaning a further delay getting connected. Does anyone know what cable is needed if I purchase my own? Or can an engineer visit be booked while waiting for activation?

Presumably you mean the mains transformer rather than just a cable: you'd need to identify which ONT model you have as a start.

Sky probably doesn't have a mechanism for that.

I have the same problem with a missing openreach power cable. I have been trying to get through to support and keep getting thrown round in circles saying I needed to check my broadband connection by the assistant bots. Could someone please point me in the direction of someone who can help me order a new power cable? Or can someone at Sky raise this with Openreach for me?

@Chocochipxx On the day that the system is activated, call sky and report the PSU for the ONT is missing, they will arrange for OR to get it sorted for you! And see the link below!
