Missing Opeanreach power cable from purchased property

Hi,

 

We just completed and moved in yesterday and I have set up a Sky broadband. Upon looking, it seems that the Openreach power cable is missing which the seller has probably took. How can I have a new power cable delivered so that we can use the internet on the live date?

@Ordnael you will have to call Sky so they can get Openreach supply you with the correct power supply.

When an order is placed it will pick up that there is no power to the Ont and will process the order as a subsequent provide so that and engineer is assigned to visit with the equipment need to provide the service

Now I'm confused. Should I give them a ring on monday regarding this matter or I would just wait for them to book an Engineer visit? Anyone from the Sky team can enlighten me? Thank you

As mentioned above.

Give Sky a call today to request a missing power cable be sent or supplied to you from Openreach, that is the correct one for your ONT.

They may ask you for your ONT model number, that is listed on the ONT sticker label, normally on the bottom or top of the ONT.

 

You can call Sky on 150 from a Sky Talk Line or Sky Mobile.
If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:

Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number.
(ROI) on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.
Stay on the line and don’t hang up if prompted to. Some of the quieter times to ring are early morning or late evening.
