I am getting upgraded to Fibre100 as copper is getting phased out. There is no charge for this. At present I have a WiFi max 6 router. I pay £10 for this service.
I want to drop the £10 charge when I move to Fibre. The question is will I need to return my max 6 router or will I be able to keep it, as my fibre is getting connected to that.
also would I be able to negotiate a better fibre contract as I reckon I need better than 100.
thanks any advice appreciated

You'd keep the Max Hub but lose Parental Controls and the ability to claim booster pods.
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2

We're only other customers here so you'd have to contact Sky to confirm but the Sky Max WiFi add-on is usually a 24 month contract I think (it comes complete with the Sky Max Hub). They won't (or at shouldn't) send out a new hub, you'll just use an ethernet cable (which may come through the post) to connect the existing Hub to the new ONT that'll get fitted internally. If you have a home phone, it'll connect to the existing hub (which you may already have done so).
They'll always be happy to upgrade and tie you into a new contract although whether there's an acceptable deal available or not is anyones guess.
