Master socket

Hi I have booked a home move for next month, I explained that the property I am moving to has had the master socket removed and no visable cables. How do I get a master socket installed so that when I move the broadband and phone will work?

Putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate which provisioning type is applicable.

It's the table and the two text lines below it which are most useful.

Remove any personal information (such as the address itself) if you post an image.

If the master socket has been removed & no FTTP is avaliable to the property then I am afraid you are in for a delay. What will need to happen is you'll have to wait until the activation date of your service, then the day after activation you'll need to call Sky and report you have no master socket. At that point Sky will send out Openreach to fit a new one. As far as I am aware there is no way to get Openreach out before the service is active.
