Master socket

Hi. I have applied for Sky broadband. Engineer is going to install in coming week. I didn't find any master socket for telephone or internet connection in the rented flat!

Does the open reach engineer fix that with new line? Does they charge any extra?

please answer!

The link which @cookiemonsteruk posted will show if you are due to get a copper or optical connection.

Note that either way, in the absence of an existing connection you will need to be able to consent to work, including drilling, which may in turn require the consent of the landlord.

There's typically no additional charges: Openreach covers £2800 of every individual installation.
