I need to extend my "purple cable" connection. It looks like a BT Plug to RJ11.
Can I buy any 10m cable and my Sky BB will still work?

That's not what I need though.
I need a BT Plug to RJ11. I can't plug the RJ11 into the Master Socket.

Available here
I'd opt for a microfilter into the 'phone socket first then an RJ11 to RJ11 DSL cable though, as mentioned in the previous posts.

Hi did you find a cable I need to exactly the same, been told by sky the micro filter will not work need to go straight from bt socket to router.

Nonsense: a microfilter will work just fine as long as there's a data connection at the socket.
What won't work is anytime such a socket is itself an extension sitting 'behind' a prefiltered master, because no broadband data gets any further into the phone wiring at the address.

Hi I got one of Amazon and worked fine

@TimmyBGood Hi sky are sending out a cable bt plug one end (flat white) and rj11 (purple) the other, they are saying the rj11 to rj11 cable is wrong with the router I have, where I should be plugging my phone cable straight onto the back of it without the micro filter, any idea if the problem is that there is a problem at the exchange cabinet maybe as open reach are saying it should be active

Personally I'd be checking for another socket at the address: increasingly a faceplate with only a BT jack socket will be an extension without a data signal because there's another (two socket) master faceplate earlier on the circuit.

I got a bit adaptor that had rj11 and bt plug on then rj11 cable to rj11 and plugged that in then telephone straight in to box

@TimmyBGood the way it's set is exactly how it was before I cancelled the broadband and it worked fine, was going to get fibre but the was going to be to much outside work involved so rang sky back up to get broadband with them again. That is the only socket I have and it's very close to the front door it has a T in the bottom right hand corner unless there's one in the attic as we live in a bungalow

Like this one?
The 'T' is old BT branding. That's a non-filtered master faceplate, so should certainly work with a plug-in filter and an RJ11 to RJ11 cable. With no other sockets at an address a plug-in filter isn't strictly required (except for cable conversion) and any BT jack to RJ11 cable should be fine.

That certainly makes it quite possible the issue is somewhere else entirely.
