Mac's TV

Last night my TV stopped working. Nothing I could do made it work. Next day went to the local TV shop and they gave me some answers as to how to use the SKY stuff on my TV. Thinking that would be ok I have spent the last couple of hours trying to contact SKY using their Chat box. Everything went OK until they asked me for my password. It must be about 8 years or longer since I bought this and must have put in a password then. But back then I didn't even know what a password is/was so never made a note of it. I was wondering if SKY could send me a message like "Have you forgotten your password" by e-mail so that I could put the new one in. Unfortunately here I am with a question. WILL THEY DO THIS? Or have I got no option but to buy a NEW SKY box?

@Mac34

Are you using the Sky Go app, if so you can reset your password via this link:

@Mac34  Not sure what this has to do with Sky Mobile, you mention a new sky box, what Sky TV service do you currently have?

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Re: Mac's TV

...this was a stupid mistake by me! The PASSWORD it was looking for wasn't for the SKY box, it was for the WiFi box which after swithching off and going for some lunch, I realised! It's the switching off and re-booting that does the trick! So, ALL IS WELL NOW.  Got my TV back!!!
