Confused over PON cable.
I have recently had my broadband installed and my sky broadband router is connected with a green PON cable. It is far to short for me to move the router to the top of the unit I want to place it on top of and it being hung to the wall makes the unit stick out to much.
What is the correct extension cable I need to purchase to extend the PON cable please?

Re: Confused over PON cable.
@Gem84 You are NOT extending the name you use PON cable that description Passive Optical Network is the connection to the new if just installed ONT from OR. Sky connects to the ONT via a standard Cat5e Ethernet cable although very short one they send in the box, you just need to get a longer cable, length that you require to move the distance that is needed, standard Cat5e cables come in 1M,2M,3M 5M,10Metre lengths etc. You may even find one in currys, Argos Tesco etc but for sure on Amazon!

This company does a kit for UK ONT relocation:

There are also eBay retailers who supply cable and coupler.
