Low wifi connection to my PC

Hi, 

I have just had my new sky broadband box activated today, my router is at the bottom of my stairs, and my PC is only up the stairs and inside the first door on the left. Every time I run an internet speed test I am getting between 4-10 mbps which is extremely low. I use my PC for online gaming so this is very frustrating. In my previous property with sky, I had one of your engineers visit and sort out this issue with an extension box that I could connect into my router via an ethernet cable, can I have this arranged at my current address?

@MeganPritchard You sure can, just call sky and have the arrange everything that you need, you cannot do it as an online to get the sky boosters that you will require though to match your sky hub type! All the info is linked below for you but it may all have changed since you last ones!
