Low Line Rate, Awful Speeds and constant restarting on it's own

For months the router has been constantly restarting itself and on and off for weeks at a time we are getting low Line Rate which is providing slow, borderline unusable speeds. Sky engineer came out and said "it's probably the wall socket" replaced it but 0 change to our speeds. If anything it's now worse for restarting itself. Any help would be great because this has been months of stress and struggling to work with next to no help from Sky themselves.

Landline phone also cuts out the router when we answer a call if that helps, another quality feature by Sky.

Hi @fnnhgbn

If the router is rebooting itself then its faulty. I'd recommend calling Sky and telling them so, they should send a new one out. Alternatively we can escalate your post to chat on the forum.

How many times a day is the line dropping. 10 or more?

Your downstream is fine but you upload is bad. I think this merits an engineer visit as your upload is below the ofcom mandated upload of 1Mbps

Re: Low Line Rate, Awful Speeds and constant restarting on it's own

Not 10 in a day maybe once every few hours. Our speed before these issues used to be around 40mbps download and around 7mbps upload but now has dropped off completely although yesterday it did a random restart and then was 40mbps down and 2mbps which was bearable but still not what it was before. We had a engineer come last weekend and described all the issues so he replaced the wall socket although that did nothing for us.
