I've tried resetting the sound to no effect, lip sync is still not acceptable

@SusanBody  You've posted this in the broadband forum, this is not a broadband related issue, do you have Sky Glass or Sky stream?

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
