Lead time for BB installation

I have an existing broadband service from my employer that will end on 30th December 2024 when I retire from the company. When I retire I will no longer get the staff rate and my broadband cost will be much higher. I am looking at Sky as a possible replacement supplier. When would I have to apply to Sky get to make sure there is no break in service?

@B1954  Sky's lead time is a minimum of two weeks but no provider who uses the openreach network will guarantee no break in service as they are reliant on openreach completing the necessary steps
