Laptop not connecting, everything else is

Everything is working apart from my laptop.. it says its connected but then when I try to use it,it then says there jo Internet.. can anyone help...

Is it connected via WiFi or ethernet? Do you have anything running on it that could block internet access like a VPN or over enthusiastic antivirus?

I have now resolved the issue. After much trying (no VPN etc issue)  ,I separated my 5GHz and 2.4GHZ and have found by logging in via the 2.4 it works perfectly but will not work on the 5GHZ..

This sounds just like my issue. I'm really shocked Sky haven't acted and resolved this for it's customers.

 

How did you seperate the 2.4 and 5 on your router please?

I went into my sky hub settings . Then in the tab "WIFI" it should have two tabs underneath , one saying 2.4 and one saying 5. I renamed them both so I could tell them apart and then unticked the box which says "Synchronise 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Settings"
