Laptop disconnects from

I had Sky FttP installed on Monday. with a Max Hub router. Everything connected including my laptop and was stable. I needed to connect my ARLO security floodlight but it would only connect to a 2.4ghz band so I disabled the 5.ghz band.

Since re-enabling the 5ghz band my laptop won't connect automatically and when connected manually, it disconnects after 2 mins.

All other devices (sky Q boxes, phones, tvs, ipads) will automatically connect and remain connected. 

 

I've reset the router several times and reset to factory settings but still no joy with my laptop.

 

Any suggestions gratefully received

Have you tried forgetting the network on your laptop, then reconnecting

Ok, I've forgotten the wifi network connection now the password isn't recognised and I can't get into the router.io as its saying the password is incorrect - I haven't changed the password!

 

Any new device won't connect to the wifi with an incorrect password error however previous devices will connect automatically except my laptop.

Update

 

So I reset my router, changed the security settings to WPA2 through the SkyMyApp and then forgot the network connection, Shut my laptop down restarted and would you know its connected and being stable for several hours.
