Landline
I have gone to full fibre for my broadband and internet But not for my phone They are telling me that I have to have my phone connected to my router I don't want that I want my phone line separate Has anyone else had this problem

@Joy02 you have no choice as the old analogue voice line system is being replced by a digital system nstionally.

@Joy02 If you have gone FF with sky you have also gone 100% Digital on the phone, there is zero choice off doing anything else! Phone now connects to the back off the hub unless you have the line disconnected and the wiring off the home adapted to suit and cable from the back off the hub outward, that all depends on postion and wither you or someone else can do it for you!

As indicated above, once there's an optical circuit to the property the copper 'landline' ceases operation, and the backbone cable feeding it will eventually be removed entirely.
If you have a particular reason for needing to retain a PSTN circuit (while those are sill available) such as having an analogue alarm system at the address then that should have been identified in advance, at which point it blocks the migration to full fibre.
