Landline disconnected from junction box

The wires from the outside hub to inside the house have been cut and now I am returning to Sky, how do I get that sorted?

Re: Landline disconnected from junction box

@DD42 Did you let sky know this fact when you ordered?

Re: Landline disconnected from junction box

No, I ordered through the internet, but thought the landline was available to at least an internal junction box.  We removed some of the internal wiring when re-decorating after moving in.

@DD42 The Forum is customer - customer help, as you have done all this, do you know what was ordered from sky, if you have to put it all back the internal is all down to you, external would be to open reach. if new order, and you happen to be getting a new complete installation then you have nothing to worry about. Use the OR checker and if you post back hide ALL personal details ((address details and fill in)).

I don't know how to report that we don't have a landline, and the activation is supposed to be tomorrow.

Re: Landline disconnected from junction box

@DD42 You need a landline indoor's, with ideally a Master Phone socket, as there was one before you are more than likely just getting the sky hub box sent for a self install.

Is there any way  you  can find out if you can get full  fibre broadband in your area instead

@DD42  Is this just superfast broadband that you are getting from Sky and not ultrafast broadband, as looking at the screenshot you posted it does say that is available in your area.

The lookup says FTTP is not available.

'FTTP on demand' is where the householder pays the full capital cost of a bespoke optical connection between their individual address and the local fibre cabinet ahead of the national rollout, and is incredibly expensive.

@TimmyBGood  I was looking at the bottom where it said it was a priority exchange. Missed the bit about FTTP on demand.
