KINGSPAN SENSIT
Had same issues with functionl Kingspan Sensit failing to connect to Sky Router exactly the same time as everyone else who wrote about the same story.Contacted Kingspan who told me it was now old,3 years so!Saw everyone having exactly the same connectivity issues at exactly the same time as me,tried to add to previous discussion, looks locked.Kingspan totally in denial anything wrong with their product and telling me a transmitter fault and won't replace as connecting to the internet, which it isn't.I have just confirmed this again with them, and now ready to write my Trust Pilot review and others to warn people to not waste their time&money on the Sensit as it clearly does not work properly for very long at all and after being told just to go and buy a new one by them, will obviously not be doing that again either so please be warned.Any other updates from others gladly welcome. Thanks v.much

Re: KINGSPAN SENSIT
I’m not familiar with the product but it might be the old issue of it struggling with the combined 2.4GHz and 5GHz. If possible, it might be worth turning off the 5GHz temporarily to force it to connect on the 2.4GHz. Once it’s connected you can turn the 5GHz back on again.

Re: KINGSPAN SENSIT
Hi @Norbit
I agree with @Anonymous that this issue sounds like a simple smart device not being compatible with combined SSIDs on your router. You simply need to separate the two frequencies out and it should connect fine. If you tell us which Sky hub you have we can provide instructions on how to split them.

Re: KINGSPAN SENSIT
@JimM1 @jamesn123 @Anonymous suggest you take a look at this thred which exhaustively discussed the issues with the Sensit system before re-opening the topic. Going by thst @Norbit would seem to be correct the Sensit tank sensing system is flawed.

Re: KINGSPAN SENSIT
@Chrisee Thanks for that, but I did say I'm not familiar with the product and was just going on past experience.

Told me they won't replace and saying transmitter faulty but then so must evrryone elses be as all went wrong same time as mine&people buying new omes now same problem.

Re: KINGSPAN SENSIT
@Anonymous & @JimM1 just trying to stop a whole lot of wasted time with pointless fault finding as the issue appears to be with the app/sensor not with the broadband connection.

Re: KINGSPAN SENSIT
Issue not with App or Transmitter, issue with Broadband connection as everyone else has pointed out on other posts.
They all has the same issue as I do,it connected no problem, something has changed or affected the Dongle doing so.
Kingspan know this too but would rather not admit anything but just keep selling them to unknowing customers.
Read the updates before judging and don't bother pretending you're an expert if you don't actually know what you're talking about.
I originally asked if anyone knew a solution or any ideas as to how to rectify, not negative nonsense

Re: KINGSPAN SENSIT
@Norbit Guess you must have changed your opinion to the product then! All the other reviews going back years with not working just do not matter! Maybe it is the sky hub not everything is guaranteed to work with every hub, device or FW update that happens from time to time!

Re: KINGSPAN SENSIT
Sky Hub or Sensit?
Both like most quite poor really I find once purchased yes!
Sky Hub is v.poor too indeed as many have reported also unless in a house shed sized, and the same with the new one also as reported.
Sky more interested in Streaming now though to people who live in cities not those waiting 30 years for Fibre in a country around 50th in the world for decent Broadband provision&councils/govt having paid Openreach/BT already 2 or 3 times to get it to everyone nationwide and still nowhere near, joke!
Bit like getting Customer service for contract renewal at Sky as a 25 year "VIP" and call centre/Exec Team and now CEO see if any "Customer Service" around to do so rather than just trying to increase bill by £30 a month for nothing at all.
Time for some Prozac now ha!
