Issues with new hub.
Since I've had my new hub I've not had internet higher than dial up! Prior to plugging the hub in I was always had above 60mb/s. This hub is barely double figures.
It's plugged into the same place so Sky is wrong claiming it's 'interference' or location or any other nonsense.
Does anyone know who I go about leaving Sky as i feel i have been missold? Thanks.

Re: Sky have conned me into new hub
@Cwentzel unfortunately as the over whelmingly most likely explanation is exactly as Sky support says I cant support your conspiracy theory. Why would Sky purposely swap a usable hub for a complete dog it makes zero sense.
Sky are gaving to swap out the older flat Sky Q hubs as they do not neet new regulations on security and are replacing these with the Sky Broadband hub which until recently was often supplied as a paid upgrade. The new model normally has greater wifi range but wifi coverage is affected by location of the unit - make sure it is out in the open and on a surface so its above obstructions like radiators.
It is possible you have a dud example which are rare but Sky will swap it out if you. Co-operate with them.

Re: Sky have conned me into new hub
TWO sky loyalty experts agreed since the 5th of March I have not received the guaranteed speeds. Both agreed I'm entitled to a new hub.
The tech support have said I can have a second booster.
The original black hub needed no boosters.
[Removed]15 years with sky and this is how I go out? [Removed]

Re: Sky have conned me into new hub
I'm sat not 2 feet from the hub and dropping connection. It is showing as 9mb/s on the hub right now.
Yeah. It's my fault. Not the new [Removed] white hub when my old black hub in the exact same place was over 60mb/s.
Let's send out a second booster see if they can get the WiFi to extend over a couple inches!
I followed the [Removed] at tech support who called me a liar. It took me over three hours to then reconnect everything with the constant drop outs. Now waiting for a booster to pin another room, which won't boost the signal as it won't reach the booster to be boosted!
They will not let me cancel and claim sky's 'broadband guarantee' only applies if you phone them immediately. Nonsense.

Re: Issues with new hub.
Have you not been notified of a price increase in the last 30 days? If you have, that would have also included your option to leave penalty free. So there's your way out.
