Issues with connection

Hi 

I am having difficulties with my work laptop connecting with my connectivity with my employer. My office is in the third floor of my home and the router is downstairs. My IT department have advised I will need an extender or a sub router. Please advise  thanks

@LisaGrimley  Sky will only provide a booster if you have Sky Wifi Max, they won;t supply a sub router as a 2nd router would not work.

You could install powerline adapters wihich could be a better solution than relying on wifi for working from home.
