Hey guys, so I've tried to have the phone connected to the 2,4 ghz WiFi and set up the ring camera, but still nothing. I don't really know what to do.... I might just request to change the hub at this point... I can't see any chance that the cam will ever connect...

Having the same issue. I've split the 5 and 2.5 from the modem but my Ring Doorbell still can't find anything and is stuck on the 'connecting to your doorbell'
Did you manage to find a solution?

I had this issue... for me I fixed it by doing a hard reset on the ring doorbell by pressing the orange button for 30 seconds then starting the reconnection process again.

I have just spent hours running add device for a new ring doorbell and hours on the phone to ring support to the point they are sending out a new device to try. I saw on a Samsung s20 phone. I keep getting a message to say my doorbell will only connect to 2.4ghz. So I try my wife's new iPhone.
Worked 1st time. So I assume many issues are with android
