Issue since upgrading router

I have just recently upgraded the router to the new white one. Now I keep losing the network connection. I have reset both the q box and the mini q box but it still keeps dropping off. When I turn on the TV upstairs it is working for seconds then freezes and loses its connection. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do next. I though it would be a simple swap over and restart the boxes. They are all connecting to the new router and the new codes/passwords entered.

Openreach have fixed a fault outside however mini box will not keep connection to WiFi. We have reset everything time and time again but everything tv is turned off and then put back on its lost it again. What is the issue?
