Is this a scam text?

Hi - I'm moving home & my broadband is being activated on Friday. Today I've received 2 texts from a mobile number stating it is Openreach & asking if I currently have access to my property in order to check equipment & set up. Any ideas about whether this is normal procedure or is this a potential scam? Thanks!

I've had the same issue, two texts about the set up and I've tried replying yes but it won't send.

annoying and frustrating

@Nick291  Is the text giving you the right date they want to come and check the equipment?

If someone has helped give them Like.

Re: Is this a scam text?

The text states the correct activation date but doesn't seem to be suggesting making an appointment for Openreach to make an appointment- the text asks if I have access to the property as they need me to check the equipment.
