Is there anything I can do about my broadband?
My semi-rural broadband has always been poor but th 11Mbps I got from it was just about enough to manage with. However lately, especially during the day it's awful. As low as 0.5 Mbps today and as I work from home this is nowhere near adequate.
It seems that SKY no longer have phone support and that leaves me with the online diagnostics which are rather unhelpful - in fact they blatantly lie, saying that my connection has been exactly 10.7 MBps for the last 2 weeks. I have tested on multiple devices and it's less than 1Mbps on all of them.
I can't get fibre because the neighbour won't let them put new posts up across her field, 5G is not an option as I don't have line of sight to a mast and therefore it works sometimes but usually not.
Is there any way at all to get SKY to sort out my connection?

Re: Is there anything I can do about my broadband?
The designated national Universal Service Obligation provider is BT: they have to ensure Openreach investigates internet speed below 10Mbs but will typically split the cost of providing the universal minimum with the subscriber. No other ISP is obliged to do so.
If you post your Hub stats, we'll have some information about your particular phone line and internet connection to work with.
Note that it's speed arriving at the Hub which counts against the minimum speed guarantee, not speed test website results on a wireless device.

These are the stats - but typically as I tested this my speed had gone back up to 11Mbps (wired connection.)

For some reason it won't let me paste the results with HTML.
Just checked the stats again and it is showing 11,000 kbps but I am only getting 0.5 Mbps at my PC and the same on my mobile.

Re: Is there anything I can do about my broadband?
I'm afraid FTTC at the ragged end of its operational range is quite likely to be variable. The speed there is above the 10/1Mbs USO so wouldn't trigger an investigation under that scheme anyway.
