Is everyone having broadband issues?

So we've been with sky broadband for years, in the last few months we've been having major issues seeing videos on social media, slow loading issues , etc. I've contacted sky, even had an engineer out. He said the issue is the router switching between signals and set it to the strongest. Guess what, it's still **bleep**. I've had a quick look at the most recent comments on the forum, and the one thing that seems to be repeated is Internet issues. So my question to you all is, how many people are recently having constant issues with their broadband. App one minute saying there's issues then it's fine, just low speed. Sky staff going through the tests, again, and again, and again. And basically getting no improvement unless you upgrade your broadband. But our online usage haven't changed for a gooooood long while. And if so, surely that's the providers issue that needs fixing?

Sky Broadband supplies around six million properties in the UK: on that kind of scale it only takes a tiny percentage of those individual Openreach circuits to have issues (or where local WiFi is struggling) for a very large number of households to be affected.

 

A day with 99.9% successful service delivery would still generate six thousand fault reports.

I have full fibre broadband 900mps  gigafast, and have not had a problem  with it since it  was  installed  in January  of  last year
