Internet speeds down almost half

Hi,

In the last 2 days I have notice my internet speeds have gone done almost HALF! I have tried resetting the hub, turning it on and off but nothing. Anyone gone through similar and now how to get it fixed?

@Georgephillips You are on a G.Fast copper line, and at your figures, 92Mb/s was downloading and was looking at it on the 5Ghz band although the software is flaky at showing it, wan R/x b/s is showing you, would find and stop that device, and do a wireless wifi speed test from a capable device to see since you have nothing Ethernet connected as shown on your Stat's.

@Georgephillips You must be using the sky SR204 on a G fast copper connection.

@Georgephillips And by the looks off it is also on the 5Ghz band device as you have nothing on an Ethernet connection.

Is there a way to tell if my speed has been capped? I input all my records in chatgpt ( i know its bad) but it did mentioned I DLM cap

@Georgephillips No, your stat's are showing you a 150/30 split and synced at that speed! Sky do NOT speed cap and if you wish to GPT then go for it, as before you have something on 5Ghz pulling a lot of data!!!!

I assume its my pc? but no new devices have been connected in the last 2 days.. why do you think its dropped from a steady close 150 to now 88?

@Georgephillips No idea about that and if it is down at those figures, another couple day's on it you can claim the month free, what is below min for you speed wise?

It is 100mbs, but we are on a rolling contract so that minimum does not apply anymore sadly.

@Georgephillips Does not matter too much any way, G fast is considered to be a dead duck now and just serviced when needed, so as before your stat's are showing you full 150/30 connected, and speed testing all devices off apart from the one you need, and it better be capable of going that fast so you can see it speed wise!

@Georgephillips Just had DFS cut my Asus back to a 40Mhz channel last night so down to a 200Mb/s speed from the normal FF500, reset the main Asus this afternoon back to full speed, just got the dining room mesh to do tonight once the good lady retires for the evening, all the rest is done! They say sugar happens!
