Internet speed

My Internet speed seems to have slowed down since upgrading to the new tariff

@AnnaHunt first thing to check is the speed of the connection to your hub which Sky test regularly.. Using the Service Checker in thecMy Sky app and you should see the lasttest result click on the link and you should see the history for the last month. If the speed is below the guarantee you should be offered futher help.

 

If that is as it should be but.spedds on your devuces are low the issue is likely to becwifi speed in your home which isnt something Sky can directly control as the layout and type of construction of your home determines how wifi signal behaves.

 

Poor WiFi coverage is probably the most common question we get in the forum. In many homes a single Sky hub cannot provide a usable wifi signal in every room due to the layout and type of construction of the property especially in older homes. Assuming the hub is in the best possible position which is out in the open on a surfsce then the only answer is additional wifi sources. 

Your choice.is to either buy Sky's add-on WiFi Max bundle which can supply up to 3 extenders see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max or buy your own wifi system and use that instead of the Sky hub's WiFi.
