We have had Sky broadband and tv for ages without issue, but the last 12 months or so it takes ages for websites to load on my phone when connected to WiFi at home. There are no issues with the tv and all the relevant checks are good. I routinely find myself switching off wifi on my phone when I am trying to get something done. Speed is better on a laptop - but this is obviously less convenient for small tasks. Opening emails can sometimes take several minutes and then a message displays saying that "your privacy settings prevent content from being downloaded" even though I've not changed anything in my settings. Is this an issue with our phones or just a slow WiFi issue? I can't seem to get anyone from Sky to talk to or to understand as from their side all looks fine. It's driving us mad now and want to know if there is a simple fix before we switch to another provider?! Thanks in advance.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThe two main causes for this are usually
1. Sky Broadband Shield, try disabling it
2. iCloud Private relay, try disabling it
