We have tested the speed of connection between router and laptops. When it works it is fine. We have reset the router numerous times however this does not fix the issue. My It team for work have remoted on to my pc and advised that the signal between sky and my router keeps dropping in and out.
my router will show no issues but I will loose all connectivity with laptop and mobile.
this is a significant issue as it severely affects my work as I work from home and measured on productivity. So I am loosing time due to internet issues which makes my working days longer.
Please investigate and resolve as I am paying for a service that is not working, I want a formal complaint logged so that I can raise to FOS if needed

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@GZ81Is your router black or white in colour? You are not talking to Sky we are mostly customers like yourself.
Using a domestic broadband connection for work if this is the norm for you should consider business broadband.
If you are wanting to make a formal complaint then you can do following the link below.

@Highlinder @You are right. This thread was a mistake as I thought that I was talking to Sky itself. After posting realised that it was a forum for customers as me.
To answer your question, my router is the black box. And I am doing the classic (for these days) WFH which unfortunately has great issues due to continuous drops of the internet.
Anyway, thank you for the link. I will use it to make a formal complaint to Sky about the situation as still facing similar issues.
much appreciated

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@GZ81 As @Highlinder has already mentioned, if you supply your router stats this will show if it's a problem with your actual line or not.
If the router stats are ok, then it's a WiFi issue, which your company IT teams have alluded too, but, Sky are only liable for the physical connection to your property (same for every ISP), they cannot control the WiFi conditions in your property.
Working from home has no bearing or gives any higher priority on anything as it is classed as domestic connection.
Which devices are you using? Anything sensitive to an unstable connection should ideally be connected via a cable where possible. You won't get far with a complaint if the physical line is fine and isn't dropping out. If it is, then Sky will have to request and engineer out
