Internet outage

There is outage in South Lanarkshire,  does anyone have an update? Biggar and surrounding area.

@EEB1  We are customers so have no access to SKy or Openreach systems

First thing to check is this link to see if there are any outages in your area:

https://www.sky.com/servicechecker

If there isn't try running the line test here:

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start

You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.

After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.

Thanks, but it's a large area in South Lanarkshire that has no service at all. Would be nice for Sky to update, but there you go....

Yes their is an outage, it happened in Biggar. Places in south Lanarkshire have been affected. They say it will not be fixed until tomorrow or even Sunday.
